AgroTech - Institute for Agri Technology and Food Innovation
AgroTech was established in 2007 as a non-profit organization working with knowledge transfer in the field between biology based natural science and technology. We carry out tests, development and demonstrations within agriculture technology, biomaterials and bioprocess technology, environment and energy technology, the animal and food area, information and technology and technology within horticulture.
We focus on sustainable food production and other biobased products. Our competences cover all links in the value chain from field to fork and we apply to suppliers of machines, facilities and technology used in the primary production as well as the food industry. We work closely with leading Danish and a number of international knowledge centres. We want to be the first choice in the field of business development within agriculture and food production and our aim is to elevate Denmark to a global power centre within development of tomorrow’s commercial food production and other biobased products.
