At the same time FORCE-Dantest CERT has become a notified body to the Construction Products Directive (CPD) for the same products.

As of October 1st 2006 welding consumables used for construction products must be CE-marked, and consequently manufacturers and suppliers must use a notified body for control of the production. FORCE-Dantest CERT is now able to offer this service.

Due to the fact that FORCE Technology’s old “list of approved consumables” now has been cancelled, welding consumables may now be certified in accordance with the EN-14532 series of standards instead. FORCE-Dantest CERT issues the certificates as DANAK - accredited product certificates.
