Nasal Ranger, which is the name of the instrument, works just like a mobile odour laboratory. The instrument is intended to supplement FORCE Technology’s existing odor laboratory.

With Nasal Ranger we are able to estimate extremely low levels of odour concentrations (3 – 61 LE/m3) which makes the instrument suitable for indoor use, e.g. when unwanted odour is detected in departments or the work environment.

Moreover we will be able to offer our customers quick assistance when neighbours, for instance, complain about odour from local companies. In these cases Nasal Ranger is used to make an initial assessment of the smell from the surroundings. This will improve the decisionmaking in connection with an actual mapping of the odour.

Nasal Ranger is developed in the US where the use of the instrument is well documented. It is our hope that the new instrument is also accepted by Danish authorities and Danish companies.
